PLYMOUTH PLANTATION, THE MILL, THE MAYFLOWER

Looking down on the village from the "fort" built at the top of the hill where everyone could go for protection when they were attacked.

There were 4 cannons in the top of the meeting house.
                                                             WELCOME HOME

The original mill the pilgrims built.  It still is used for making corn flour.

The man who operates the mill today.  A wonderful Christian man who tells the story of the Pilgrims as a testiment to the sovereinty of God.  We had our own private tour and he spoke very candidly.

Inside the Mayflower

A monument to honor the Pilgrims.  It says:  "Erected by a grateful people in remembrance of their labore, sacrifices and sufferings for the cause of civil and religious liberty"
