BOSTON

One thing we decided to do differently while in Boston was to stay right downtown.  We didnt want to have to drive around in the city or waste our time running back and forth.  So, we stayed at the Sheraton and they upgraded us to a room with a view - the kids were in awe at the beautiful accomodations.  Take a look ....
Our room was on the 17th floor

The very rainy view of the city

The fountain we looked down on that had lights changing color.  It was very pretty.
Another bonus, according to the kids, is that they didnt have continental breakfast but, they did have a Starbucks in the lobby.  Just added to the "spoiled" factor!

The very beautiful pool!!

We tried to make the most of our time there in spite of the pouring rain!

Onto the trolley

The driver got out for a break and Chris pretended to be in charge of the tour.  He even checked some tickets of a few new passagenger and told them to find a seat.

The original Post Office
I was just snapping pictures left and right.  There are so many wonderful buildings and monuments.

A memorial to the 9-11 victims.  Each of their names are carved into the glass.

Maddie just couldn't stay awake any longer.  It was nap time in spite of the hilarious tour guide!

Chris was crying from laughing so hard.  He was calling Sam at this point to have him hear the guy.

Waiting to go on the Harbor Tour

The Boston Harbor nearly fogged in.  It was still a beautiful place!
