This was our 3rd and final day of games.
This is where the families watch the games from. The whole field is enclosed with the green wall. You cant see the game from outside this area. It creates a unique atmosphere and makes you feel like its the only game happening. There are 24 fields in all and they are all exactly the same.
Talking to one of the grandparents about the score and such.
Lou (the founder of the whole place) came by to watch a bit of our game. I asked him to sign Ty's homerun ball.
time! Finally someone took her around for a couple minutes and she was so thrilled!
The end of our final game - a tough loss but a great time!
After each game we clapped for each set of fans as we always have done. We were the only team to do this. It was a great display of good sportsmanship.
The boys at home plate after the final game. We all hung around the field for awhile. It was like we didnt want the experience to be over. Parents and kids alike. Really a "Once in a Lifetime" experience!
THERE'S MY BOY! I'M SO PROUD OF HIM AND THE CHARACTER HE DISPLAYS!
And, Maddie wasn't far behind me .....
Back to our home away from home. Or, should I say, "creep house", "haunted house", "old and stinky house"... definately different than home!
The girls had a good time together.
