Well, you know the trip to the city had to start out and end with the Subway!
What a good sport she was!
On our way to see the Statue of Liberty. Isnt this a darling picture?!

The security was a bit unsettling. Machines guns drawn and helicopters flying overhead. It felt like we were going to a prison camp. The people were shouting orders and trying to get us to hurry as we were the last boat out for the day. |
On the boat ride to the Statue
It's really quite a spectacular sight!
After our visit at the Statue we headed to the Empire State Building. But first, we had to have a stop for ice cream.
Looking down 5th Ave
Another view of the city
And, of course, no visit would be complet without a stop at Time Square. We didn't stay long though, as it was a bit overwhelming and 10pm by now.
Now it was 11pm and everyone was starving. We found a pizza place on our way back to the subway...
Too bad Maegan, you're still in the picture!
Oh, what a doll!!!!
The Empire State Building at night
The beginning of the almost 3 hour trip back
