Here we go!!

We were of to an early start, ready for our 10:40 flight and very excited for our adventure to begin!

7 bags to check and 5 to carry on ...

Up, Up and way!!!

We landed in Chicago only planning to switch planes quickly.  We ended up having a 4 hour delay so we roamed around the airport trying to pass the time ....

Finally, we are back on the plane again, headed for Newark.   We didnt land until 12:30 and this is the way Maddie remained until the hotel when we put her straight in the bed ...

She was a great little traveller.  But it was a long day.

Off to get the rental car with all the bags in tow.  A tram ride and 2 1/2 hours later we finally made it to the hotel.  Need I say, totally exhausted!
